Four years ago I was putting my children to bed and fabricated a bedtime story for them that was based on historical events. Every night I would add a new chapter/event, I told each story from the perspective of women who were there at the time and so A face in the mirror was born. I wanted my daughter to have female role models throughout history, as I feel that a lot of the lessons children are taught about our past are very male sided. I hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
